Mission: To make the world better for animals and their people. To raise funds for the smallest, neediest rescues all across the country. To work for the passing and enforcing of anti-cruelty, and animal welfare laws.

TOJ is a not-for-profit (501c3) organization founded by comedian/writer/animal activist Elayne Boosler.

Tails of Joy is a totally volunteer organization, so 100% of every dollar you donate is dedicated to animal welfare. Your money goes to buying animals out of the shelters before they are killed, food, shelter, medicine, spay/neuter programs, emergency help and so much more. No donation is too small. All donations are fully tax deductible. In addition to their own animal rescues, Tails of Joy donates funds to smaller rescue groups to help them with their humane work. Ariel C. Wulff is an author, artist and animal advocate. They have been involved in pet rescue for over twenty-five years.
